Installation Procedure

  1. Install the brake hose to the brake hose mounting bracket on the rear axle.
  2. Install the brake hose retaining clip (1) onto the hose fitting at the brake hose mounting bracket.

  4. Install the brake hose to the brake hose mounting bracket on the body frame.
  5. Install the brake hose retaining clip (1) onto the hose fitting at the brake hose mounting bracket.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  7. Connect the brake pipe fitting (1) to the brake hose at the wheel cylinder side and tighten to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).

  9. Connect the brake pipe fitting (1) to the brake hose at the rear brake pipe side and tighten to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).
  10. Bleed the hydraulic brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual) Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) .
  11. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  12. Lower the vehicle.
