Removal Procedure

WARNING:

Refer to Brake Fluid Irritant Warning .

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  2. Remove Battery Tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement (without Engine Block Heater)Battery Tray Replacement (with Engine Block Heater)
  3. Remove Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Secondary Pipe. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Secondary Pipe Replacement (LHD) Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Secondary Pipe Replacement (RHD) 
  4. Remove Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Primary Pipe. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Primary Pipe Replacement (LHD) Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Primary Pipe Replacement (RHD)

    NOTE:

    Cap the brake pressure modulator valve port to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.

  6. Remove Front Brake Pipe Fitting (1) @ Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (2)
  7. Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame. Refer to Drivetrain and Front Suspension Cradle Replacement .
  8. Remove Fuel Feed Pipe. Refer to Fuel Feed Pipe Replacement - Underbody (L5Q)Fuel Feed Pipe Replacement - Underbody (LV7)

  10. Remove Front Brake Pipe Fitting (1) @ Front Brake Hose (2)
