Removal Procedure

- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
- Remove Battery Tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement (without Engine Block Heater)Battery Tray Replacement (with Engine Block Heater)
- Remove Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Secondary Pipe. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Secondary Pipe Replacement (LHD) Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Secondary Pipe Replacement (RHD)
- Remove Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Primary Pipe. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Primary Pipe Replacement (LHD) Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Primary Pipe Replacement (RHD)
- Remove Front Brake Pipe Fitting (1) @ Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (2)
- Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame. Refer to Drivetrain and Front Suspension Cradle Replacement .
- Remove Fuel Feed Pipe. Refer to Fuel Feed Pipe Replacement - Underbody (L5Q)Fuel Feed Pipe Replacement - Underbody (LV7)
- Remove Front Brake Pipe Fitting (1) @ Front Brake Hose (2)
- Unclip Front Brake Pipe (1) @ Brake Pipe Clip (2)
- Unclip Front Brake Pipe (1) @ Brake Pipe Clip (2)
- Unclip Front Brake Pipe (1) @ Brake Pipe Clip (2)
- Remove Front Brake Pipe (1) @ Vehicle
NOTE:
Cap the brake pressure modulator valve port to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
