Installation Procedure

Install the brake pressure modulator valve secondary pipe (1) to the vehicle.
Attach the brake pressure modulator secondary pipe (1) to the brake pipe clips (2).

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Connect the brake pressure modulator valve secondary pipe fitting (1) to the brake pressure modulator valve and tighten to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).

Connect the brake pressure modulator valve secondary pipe fitting (1) to the master cylinder and tighten to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).

Connect the electrical connector (1) to the EBCM and BPMV assembly (2).
Install the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement (without Engine Block Heater)Battery Tray Replacement (with Engine Block Heater) .
Install the engine control module. Refer to Engine Control Module Replacement .
Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement .

Attach the push clip (1) to the front compartment side rail and attach the fuel feed pipe (3) to the fuel feed pipe clip (2).
Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (L5Q)Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (LV7) .
Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
Bleed the hydraulic brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual) Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) .
