Removal Procedure

CAUTION:

- Remove the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement .
- Remove the engine control module. Refer to Engine Control Module Replacement .
- Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement (without Engine Block Heater)Battery Tray Replacement (with Engine Block Heater) .
- Clean all dirt and foreign material from the brake pipe fittings.
- Disconnect the brake pressure modulator valve primary pipe fitting (1) from the master cylinder and drain the brake fluid out of the master cylinder.
- Disconnect the brake pressure modulator valve primary pipe fitting (2) from the brake pressure modulator valve.
- Remove the brake pressure modulator valve primary pipe (3) from the vehicle.
