Installation Procedure

  1. Release the tension using the suitable tool.

  2. Install the oil pump (2) with 2 oil pump gasket (3).

    NOTE: Oil pump is removed/installed as an assembly with the oil pump sprocket.
  3. Tighten the oil pump bolts (1) in sequence to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  4. Install the upper oil pan. Refer to Upper Oil Pan Replacement (LV7) .
