Installation Procedure

  1. Install the oil pump drive chain tensioner (2) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

    NOTE: Ensure the tensioner spring is retained in the correct position prior to installation.
    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Remove the oil pump drive chain tensioner pin (1).

  3. Install the camshaft timing chain. Refer to Camshaft Timing Chain Replacement (L5Q) .
