Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the camshaft timing chain. Refer to Camshaft Timing Chain Replacement (LV7) .
  2. Insert the oil pump drive chain tensioner pin (1) to the oil pump drive chain tensioner (2) to release the tension.

  3. Loosen the oil pump assembly bolts and tilt the oil pump assembly in order to remove the drive chain.

  4. Remove the oil pump drive chain (1).
