Installation Procedure

  1. Install the 16 hydraulic valve lash adjusters (1) in the bores in the cylinder head.

  2. Apply lubricant to the 16 hydraulic valve lash adjusters (1). Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants and Sealers (Europe LV7)Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants and Sealers (North America LV7) .
  3. Install the hydraulic valve lash adjuster arm. Refer to Hydraulic Valve Lash Adjuster Arm Replacement (LV7) .
