Installation Procedure

  1. Install the 12 hydraulic valve lash adjusters (1) in the bores in the cylinder head.

  2. Apply lubricant to the 12 hydraulic valve lash adjusters (1). Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants and Sealers (Europe L5Q)Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants and Sealers (North America L5Q) .
  3. Install the hydraulic valve lash adjuster arm. Refer to Hydraulic Valve Lash Adjuster Arm Replacement (L5Q) .
