Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the 3 EN-51007-6  adapters (1) from the 3 engine lift brackets (2).

  2. Loosen the 2 EN-51007-4  adapters (3).

  3. Remove the 2 EN-51007-3  adapters from the EN-51007-1  adapter (1).
    NOTE: A second technician is required.
  4. Remove the EN-51007-1  adapter (1).

  5. Clean the contact surfaces from the EN-51007-5  adapters on the front end upper tie bar with solvent.
  6. Remove the bolt (1).

    NOTE: For engine L5Q without engine lift front bracket.
  7. Remove the EN-51698  engine lift bracket (2).
  8. Clean the contact surfaces from the EN-51007-5  adapters on the front end upper tie bar with solvent.
  9. Install the surge tank fixing bolts (1) and tighten to 5 N.m (44 lb in).
