Removal Procedure

Remove the crankshaft balancer. Refer to Crankshaft Balancer Replacement (L5Q) .
Check which one of crankshaft front oil seals (1, 2) is installed.

NOTE: The engine can be equipped with two different front oil seal designs.
Install the DT-6125-1B hammer (2) to DT-23129 remover (3).

Install the DT-6125-1B hammer with the DT-23129 remover behind the crankshaft front oil seal (1).
Remove the crankshaft front oil seal (1), with the DT-6125-1B hammer.
