Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the battery. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement (without Engine Block Heater)Battery Tray Replacement (with Engine Block Heater) .
  2. Remove the engine control module. Refer to Engine Control Module Replacement .
  3. Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement (without Engine Block Heater)Battery Tray Replacement (with Engine Block Heater) .
  4. Install the engine support fixture. Refer to Engine Support Fixture (LV7)Engine Support Fixture (L5Q) .
  5. Remove the transmission mount. Refer to Transmission Mount Replacement - Left Side .
  6. Remove and DISCARD the transmission mount bracket bolts (1).

  7. Remove the transmission mount bracket (2) from the transmission.
