Conditions for Running the DTC

P0841 - Condition 1
- DTC P0705, P0706, P0717, P0961, P0962, P0963 or U0100 is not set.
- System Voltage=9-32 V
- Transmission Range=D
- Primary Pulley Speed=Less than 306 RPM
- Secondary Pulley Speed=Greater than 230 RPM
- Vehicle Speed=Less than 50 km/h (31 MPH)
- Rate of change in pulley ratio less the 0.1.
- Calculated Throttle Position=Less than 21%.
DTC runs continuously when the above conditions are met.
P0841 - Condition 2
- TCM DTC P0705, P0706, P0717, P0961, P0962, P0963 or U0100 is not set.
- System Voltage=9-32 V
- Engine Speed=Greater than 450 RPM
- Transmission Range=D
- Vehicle Speed= greater than 10 km/h (6 mph).
- Throttle Position Sensor=Greater than 12.5% greater than 12.5%.
- Transmission Fluid Temperature=20 to 180°C (68 to 356°F)
- Line Pressure=Greater than 0 kPa (0 PSI)
DTC runs continuously when the above conditions are met.
P0842
- System Voltage=9-32 V
- Transmission Fluid Temperature=Greater than -20°C (-4°F)
DTC runs continuously when the above conditions are met.
P0843
- System Voltage=9-32 V
- Transmission Fluid Temperature=Greater than -20°C (-4°F)
- Line Pressure= Less than 5700 kPa (827 PSI)
DTC runs continuously when the above conditions are met.
