Circuit/System Description
The B12B Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor is part of the Q8 Control Solenoid Valve Assembly which has no serviceable parts.
The K71 Transmission Control Module supplies a signal circuit and a shared ground to the B12B Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor. The B12B Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor shares a ground with the B13 Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor. When the K71 Transmission Control Module determines that more pressure is needed at the secondary pulley, the K71 Transmission Control Module decreases current to the line pressure control solenoid. When the K71 Transmission Control Module determines that less pressure is needed at the secondary pulley, the K71 Transmission Control Module increases current to the line pressure control solenoid.
