Conditions for Setting the DTC

DTC P0705
The Transmission Control Module detects an invalid combination of transmission range signals for more than 30 s.
or
The Transmission Range Switch indicates more than one transmission range for more than 2 s - multiple signals.
DTC P0706
The Transmission Control Module detects engine start-up in a drive range for more than 2 s.
or
The Transmission Control Module detects output shaft speed when the transmission range switch indicates Park.
DTC P0851
The Engine Control Module detects vehicle speed when the park/neutral position switch indicates Park or Neutral for more than 2 s.
