Conditions for Setting the DTC

The transmission control module has detected an internal malfunction.

DTC P0601

The read only memory (ROM) or the masked ROM, of the transmission control module has failed the Checksum test indicating that the data is not currently valid.

DTC P0602

No application/calibration software found or calibration incompatible with application.

DTC P0603

The transmission control module has failed a Long Term Memory (Flash ROM) Reset test when comparing the calculated value stored in the flash ROM in the transmission with the value stored in the transmission control module.

DTC P0604

The random access memory (RAM) of the transmission control module has failed an operational test indicating that some portions of RAM are non-functional.

DTC P0606

The transmission control module has failed an operational test indicating a processor performance failure between the primary and secondary processors.
