Secondary Pressure Sensor
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2017 Chevrolet Spark. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
The secondary pressure sensor is installed to the control valve body and detects the pressure applied to the secondary pulley.
When the pressure is applied to the ceramic device in the secondary pressure sensor, the ceramic device is deformed, resulting in voltage change.
TCM evaluates the secondary pressure from its voltage change. The voltage is increased along with the pressure increase.
