Installation Procedure

  1. Install the transmission mount (2) to the vehicle.

  2. Install the transmission mount frame side bracket bolts (1) and tighten to 58 N.m (43 lb ft).
    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the transmission mount frame side bracket nut (1) and tighten to 58 N.m (43 lb ft).

  4. Install the NEW transmission mount bolts (1) and tighten to 58 N.m (43 lb ft) + 60 to 75 degrees.

    CAUTION: Refer to Torque-to-Yield Fastener Caution .
  5. Remove the engine support fixture. Refer to Engine Support Fixture (LV7)Engine Support Fixture (L5Q) .
  6. Install the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement (without Engine Block Heater)Battery Tray Replacement (with Engine Block Heater) .
  7. Install the engine control module. Refer to Engine Control Module Replacement .
  8. Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement .
