Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement (without Engine Block Heater)Battery Tray Replacement (with Engine Block Heater) .
  2. Remove the shift lever and selector lever cable (1) from the shift control housing (3).

  3. Remove the shift lever and selector lever cable (2) from the selector and shift lever cable bracket (4).
  4. Remove the selector and shift lever cable bracket bolts (1) from the transmission.

  5. Unclip the backup lamp switch wiring harness retainer from the selector and shift lever cable bracket (2).
  6. Remove the selector and shift lever cable bracket (2) from the transmission.
