Manual Transmission Shift Lever and Selector Lever Cable Movement Inspection

- Remove the shift lever and the selector lever cable. Refer to Manual Transmission Shift Lever and Selector Lever Cable Replacement
- Move the shift cable to insure freedom of movement within the cable sleeve.
- Move the select cable to insure freedom of movement within the cable sleeve.
- If a problem is detected replace both cables before proceeding. Refer to Manual Transmission Shift Lever and Selector Lever Cable Replacement
