Synchronizers Cleaning and Inspection

Measure the distance between the synchronizer sleeve and the shift fork. If the distance is over the limit, replace the shift fork.
Specifications
- The standard distance between the synchronizer sleeve and the shift fork is 0.2 - 0.6 mm (0.008 - 0.024 in).
- The allowable distance limit between the synchronizer sleeve and the shift fork is 1.0 mm (0.039 in).
