Shift Shaft and Fork Assemblies Cleaning and Inspection

- Thoroughly clean the shift shaft and shift fork assemblies with clean solvent and air dry.
- Inspect the shift shafts for excessive wear, fractures or distortion.
- Inspect the shift forks and fork inserts for excessive wear or damage.
- Replace the shift shaft and fork assemblies if excessive wear or damage is found.NOTE: The shift fork assemblies are not serviceable. If damage to the shafts or forks is found, replace the entire shift fork assembly.
