Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the throttle body assembly from the engine. Refer to Throttle Body Assembly Replacement (L5Q)Throttle Body Assembly Replacement (LV7) .
  2. Remove the clutch master cylinder reservoir hose from the clutch master cylinder. Refer to Clutch Master Cylinder Reservoir Hose Replacement (Right Hand Drive) .
  3. Remove the retaining clip (1).

  4. Disconnect the clutch actuator cylinder front pipe (2) from the clutch master cylinder.
  5. Remove the 2 clutch master cylinder mount nuts (1).

  6. Remove the clutch pedal return spring. Refer to Clutch Pedal Return Spring Replacement (Right Hand Drive) .
  7. Remove the clutch pedal position sensor. Refer to Clutch Pedal Position Sensor Replacement .
  8. Disconnect the clutch master cylinder push rod from the clutch pedal (3), using the DT-50894  remover (2) along with the DT-6202-B  pliers (1).

  9. Remove the clutch master cylinder in the direction of the engine compartment.
