Removal Procedure

- Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement (without Engine Block Heater)Battery Tray Replacement (with Engine Block Heater) .
- Remove the brake pressure modulator valve bracket. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Replacement .
- Remove the clutch master cylinder reservoir hose from the clutch master cylinder. Refer to Clutch Master Cylinder Reservoir Hose Replacement (Left Hand Drive) .
- Remove the clutch actuator cylinder front pipe (2) from the retainers (1).
- Remove the retaining clip (1).
- Disconnect the clutch actuator cylinder front pipe (2) from the clutch master cylinder.
- Remove the 2 clutch master cylinder mount nuts (1).
- Remove the clutch pedal return spring. Refer to Clutch Pedal Return Spring Replacement (Left Hand Drive) .
- Remove the clutch pedal position sensor. Refer to Clutch Pedal Position Sensor Replacement .
- Disconnect the clutch master cylinder push rod from the clutch pedal (2), using the DT-6202-B pliers (1).
- Remove the clutch master cylinder (3) in the direction of the engine compartment.
