Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement (With 1.0L Engine)Transmission Replacement (With 1.4L Engine) .
  2. Remove the clutch actuator cylinder pipe elbow. Refer to Clutch Actuator Cylinder Pipe Elbow Replacement .
  3. Remove the retaining clip (1) from the clutch actuator cylinder.

  4. Squeeze the fastening sleeve (arrows) and push the fastening sleeve (3) and clutch actuator cylinder pipe (2) out of the transmission housing.
  5. Remove the clutch actuator cylinder pipe (1) from the fastening sleeve (2).

    NOTE: Release the fastening sleeve keys (arrows) using a screwdriver or equivalent to remove the fastening sleeve.
