Installation Procedure

  1. Uncap A/C components.
  2. Install new sealing washers (3). Refer to Air Conditioning O-Ring Seal Replacement .
  3. Install the refrigerant desiccant (2) into the air conditioning condenser (1).

  4. Install the air conditioning receiver and dehydrator plug (4).
  5. Install the front compartment insulator. Refer to Front Compartment Insulator Replacement .
  6. Evacuate and charge the refrigerant system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-134a) Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-1234yf) .
  7. Leak test the fittings using the GE 39400-A  detector.
