Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Open the hood.
  2. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  3. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-134a) Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-1234yf) .
  4. Disconnect the A/C refrigerant pressure sensor electrical connector.
1 Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Nut to Air Conditioning Condenser
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten 
22 N.m (16 lb ft)
2 Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Bolt to Air Conditioning Compressor
Tighten 
25 N.m (18 lb ft)
3 Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose
NOTE: Remove and discard the old sealing washers and replace NEW sealing washers.
