Rear End Spoiler Replacement

Callout Component Name
Preliminary Procedure 
Disconnect battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
1 Rear End Spoiler Bolt - Inner (Qty: 4)
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure

  1. Open the liftgate.
  2. Remove the bolts.

Tighten 
5 N.m (44 lb in)
2 Rear End Spoiler Bolt Cover
NOTE: Use a plastic flat bladed tool to remove the cover.
3 Rear End Spoiler Bolt - Outer (Qty: 2)
Tighten 
5 N.m (44 lb in)
4 Rear End Spoiler Plastic Clip (Qty: 4)
5 Rear End Spoiler

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the rear washer hose before removing the rear end spoiler.
  2. Disconnect the center high mount stop lamp wiring harness before removing the rear end spoiler.
