Removal Procedure

Relieve the fuel pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief .
Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (L5Q) .
Disconnect the fuel feed pipe fitting (1) from the fuel rail. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

Remove the fuel feed pipe (1) from the retainer (2).
Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
Remove the fuel feed pipe (2) from the retainers (1).

Disconnect the fuel feed pipe fitting (2) from the fuel feed/evaporative emission separator at the tank. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

Remove the fuel feed pipe (3) from the retainers (1).
Remove the fuel feed pipe (3) from the vehicle.
