Removal Procedure

Relieve the fuel pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief .
Disconnect the evaporative emission pipe fitting (1) from the evaporative emission canister purge solenoid valve. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

Remove the evaporative emission pipe (2).
Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
Remove the evaporative emission pipe (2) from the retainers (1).

Disconnect the evaporative emission pipe (2) from the evaporative emission canister purge pipe at the tank. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

Remove the evaporative emission pipe (3) from the retainers (1).
Remove the evaporative emission pipe (3) from the vehicle.
