Removal Procedure

- Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
- Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
- Disconnect the electrical connector around the hose (2).
- Unclip the wiring harness clip around the hose (2).
- Loosen the radiator outlet hose upper clamp (1).
- Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
- Remove the front compartment insulator. Refer to Front Compartment Insulator Replacement .
- Loosen the radiator outlet hose lower clamp (1) using GE-47622 flexible hose clamp plier.
- Remove the radiator outlet hose (2) from the radiator.
- Remove the radiator outlet hose (2) from the water pump pipe.
