Preliminary Procedure Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
1 Inflatable Restraint Instrument Panel Lower Module Nut (Qty: 2)
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten 
10 N.m (89 lb in)
2 Inflatable Restraint Instrument Panel Lower Module

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  2. For proper handling and scrapping, refer to Inflatable Restraint Module Handling and Scrapping .
