Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the positive crankcase ventilation tube (front).

    Loosen the air cleaner outlet duct clamp (2) and position the air cleaner outlet duct (1) away from the engine.

    Using a suitable tool, cut a slot in the tamper-resistant positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) bolt heads (4) and remove with a flat-bladed tool. Discard bolts (4).

  4. Remove the positive crankcase ventilation tube (2) with air cleaner outlet duct assembly and valve (3) from the engine. Discard the assembly (1, 2, 3).
