Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the crankshaft balancer. Refer to Crankshaft Balancer Replacement .

    NOTE:

    The engine can be equipped with two different front oil seal designs.

    Check which one of crankshaft front oil seals (1, 2) is installed.

    Install the DT-6125-1B  hammer (2) to DT-23129  remover (3).

  4. Install the DT-6125-1B  hammer with the DT-23129  remover behind the crankshaft front oil seal (1).
  5. Remove the crankshaft front oil seal (1), with the DT-6125-1B  hammer.
