Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet Pipe Replacement (LCV)

Preliminary Procedures Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement . Remove the front compartment front sight shield. Refer to Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Replacement . Remove the right front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement . Cap the fittings and plug the holes when removing the transmission fluid cooler inlet pipe. Place a drain pan under the transmission fluid cooler inlet pipe.
1	Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet Pipe Nut CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
2	Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet Pipe Seal Procedure Remove and discard the sealing washers and replace with a NEW sealing washer.
3	Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet Pipe Retaining Clip Procedure Remove the transmission fluid cooler inlet pipe retaining clip. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .
4	Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet Pipe Procedure Note the routing of the transmission fluid cooler inlet pipe to ensure proper installation. Remove the transmission fluid cooler inlet pipe from the retaining clips securing the pipe to the transmission and fan shroud. Inspect the transmission fluid level. Refer to Transmission Fluid Level and Condition Check .
