Removal Procedure

  1. Relieve the fuel pressure. Fuel Pressure Relief 
  2. GM320792

    Remove the J 34730-1A  gauge from the CH-37287 - 1A  adapter.

  3. Disconnect the quick connect couplings of the CH-37287 - 1A  Fuel Pressure Gauge Adapter from the fuel feed hose and from the fuel feed pipe on the fuel pump. Use a shop towel in order to catch any remaining fuel that may leak. Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service 
  4. Connect the quick-connect fitting of the fuel feed hose to the fuel feed pipe of the fuel pump.
  5. Turn ON the ignition in order to pressurize the fuel system.
  6. Turn OFF the ignition.
  7. Check for any fuel leaks.
  8. Install the intake manifold cover. Intake Manifold Cover Replacement
