Removal Procedure

- Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
Remove the PCV pipe (1). Refer to Positive Crankcase Ventilation Hose/Pipe/Tube Replacement .
Remove the brake vacuum pipe (1). Refer to Power Brake Booster Vacuum Pipe Replacement (LCV) .
Remove the EVAP canister valve (1).
- Remove the throttle body. Refer to Throttle Body Assembly Replacement .
- Remove the fuel pump. Refer to Fuel Pump Replacement .
Remove the intake bolts (1).
- Intake Manifold (2) - Reposition
- Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Fuel Pressure Sensor - Remove - Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Fuel Pressure Sensor Replacement
- Remove the intake manifold (2) from the vehicle.
Remove the intake manifold gasket (1) and DISCARD.
- For intake manifold cleaning and inspection. Refer to Intake Manifold Cleaning and Inspection .
