Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement (LCV)

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vacuum and Fill) Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static) .
  2. Remove the front compartment front sight shield. Refer to Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Replacement .
1 Radiator Outlet Hose Clamp (Qty: 2)

Procedure

  1. Using the BO-38185  hose clamp pliers release the radiator outlet hose clamp and remove the radiator outlet hose from the engine.
  2. Using the BO-38185  hose clamp pliers release the radiator outlet hose clamp and remove the radiator outlet hose from the radiator.

BO-38185  Hose Clamp Pliers
For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .
2 Radiator Outlet Hose

Procedure

  1. Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vacuum and Fill) Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static) .
  2. Inspect the cooling system for leaks.
