Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  2. Loosen the transmission front strut bolt at the transmission mount strut bracket. Transmission Mount Strut Replacement (All Wheel Drive)Transmission Mount Strut Replacement (Front Wheel Drive)
  3. Position two floor jacks with wood blocks under the engine and transaxle in order to support the powertrain assembly.
  4. Lower the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

  6. Loosen ONLY the engine mount to engine mount bracket bolts (1). Engine Mount Replacement

    NOTE:

    Only the transmission mount to transmission bolts should be loosened. Bolts (1) should remain tighten during the balancing procedure.

  8. Loosen bolts (2) at the left transmission mount (3). Transmission Mount Replacement (Left Side M3U)Transmission Mount Replacement (Left Side M3D/M3H)
