Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Reposition both floor jacks and blocks of wood in order to allow a 1/8 inch gap between the mount and bracket.
  2. Shake the powertrain vigorously by hand from front to rear and allow the powertrain to settle.

  3. tighten the engine mount to engine mount bracket bolts (1). Engine Mount Replacement

  4. tighten bolts (2) at the left transmission mount (3). Transmission Mount Replacement (Left Side M3U)Transmission Mount Replacement (Left Side M3D/M3H)
  5. Raise the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  6. tighten the transmission front strut bolt at the transmission mount strut bracket. Transmission Mount Strut Replacement (All Wheel Drive)Transmission Mount Strut Replacement (Front Wheel Drive)
  7. Remove the jack stands and wood blocks supporting the engine and transaxle from underneath the powertrain.
  8. Lower the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
