Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the engine oil and remove the oil filter. Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement 
  2. Remove Drivetrain and Front Suspension Cradle - Drivetrain and Front Suspension Cradle Replacement (Front Wheel Drive)
  3. Remove Oil Pump Flow Control Valve Heat Shield - Oil Pump Flow Control Valve Heat Shield Replacement
  4. Remove Engine Front Cover - Engine Front Cover Replacement

  5. Remove Air Conditioning Compressor Bolt (1)

  6. Remove Front Wheel Drive Intermediate Shaft Bracket Bolt (1)

  7. Disconnect Electrical Connector (1) @ Oil Pan (2)

  8. Remove Transmission Bolt (1)

  9. Remove Oil Pan Bolt.
  10. Remove Oil Pan Bolt.
  11. Remove Oil Pan Bolt.
  12. Remove Oil Pan.
  13. For part transfer, and cleaning and inspection, refer to Oil Pan Cleaning and Inspection .
