Oil Pan Cover Replacement

Procedure 
Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement 
1 Oil Pan Fastener [5x]
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


tighten 
10 N.m (89 lb in)
2 Lower Oil Pan
Procedure 
Apply a 2.25 mm bead of sealer on the level part of the flange around the perimeter of the lower oil pan. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers .
NOTE:
  • The lower crankcase surface must be free of contamination prior to applying the sealer.
  • The oil pan must be fastened to final torque specification within 60 minutes of applying the sealer.
