Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Remove the intake and exhaust camshaft. Refer to Camshaft Replacement .
    2. Fig 1: Valve Lifter Roller Assemblies

  2. Remove the 16 valve lifter with valve lifter roller (1) and lay aside in the order as they was removed.

    NOTE:

    Unclip the valve lifter from the valve lifter roller in direction as shown (arrow). Mind to the centering link on retainer spring (3).

  3. Remove the 16 valve lifters (2) from the valve lifter rollers (1).
