Installation Procedure

    NOTE:

    Clip in the valve lifter to the valve lifter roller. Mind to the centering link on retainer spring (3).

  1. Install the 16 valve lifters (2) to the valve lifter rollers (1).
  2. Coat the 16 valve lifter with engine oil.

    NOTE:

    If the valve lifters or valve lifter rollers are reused, the valve lifter or valve lifter roller must be installed in their original position.

  3. Install the 16 valve lifter with valve lifter roller (1) in the order as they was removed.
  4. Install the intake and exhaust camshaft. Refer to Camshaft Replacement .
