Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the timing chain lower cover. Refer to Timing Chain Lower Cover Replacement .
    2. Fig 1: Oil Pump Drive Chain Tensioner And Fixing Pin

  2. Tension the oil pump drive chain tensioner (1) in arrow direction.
  3. Install the EN-50513  fixing pin (2).

  4. Loosen the oil pump sprocket bolt (2), by counterhold with the EN-51142  holding tool (1).

  5. Remove and DISCARD the oil pump sprocket bolt (4).
  6. Remove the oil pump sprocket (3) from the oil pump shaft (5).
  7. Remove the oil pump drive chain (2) from the oil pump drive chain sprocket (1).
