Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9)
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  3. Remove Exhaust Front Pipe. Refer to Exhaust Front Pipe Replacement (LH7)
    4. Fig 1: Electrical Connectors, Wiring Harness And Clip

  4. Disconnect the electrical connector:
    1. Starter (1)
    2. Fuel Injection Pump (2)
    3. Engine Oil Pressure Switch (3)
  5. Unclip Wiring Harness Clip (5)
  6. Hang the wiring harness (4) aside.

  7. Remove Engine Oil Pressure Switch (1)
