Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Generator and Air Conditioning Compressor Belt Replacement .
    2. Fig 1: Crankshaft Holder, Pins, Extension And Crankshaft Pulley

    NOTE:

    Install the EN-49979  holder along with the EN-49979-100  pins to the outer hole pattern.

  2. Install the EN-49979  holder (1) in compound with the EN-49979-100  pins and the EN-956-1  extension (2) to counterhold the crankshaft pulley (3).
    3. Fig 2: Crankshaft Pulley And Bolts

  3. Remove and DISCARD the 4 crankshaft pulley bolts (2).
  4. Remove the crankshaft pulley (1).
