Installation Procedure

  1. Install Automatic Transmission Flex Plate (1)
    2. NOTE:

    Install NEW bolts.

  2. Install Automatic Transmission Flex Plate Bolts (2) (Qty: 8)

  3. Install the EN-652  holder (1) in the position shown.
    4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Torque-to-Yield Fastener Caution

  4. Tighten the flex plate bolts crosswise in the following order:
    1. First Pass: 60 N.m (44 lb ft)
    2. Final Pass: 45 degrees - EN-45059  meter
  5. Remove the EN-652  holder.
  6. Install Transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement (Front Wheel Drive)Transmission Replacement (All Wheel Drive)
