Piston And Connecting Rod Disassemble

  1. Remove the piston rings. Use a piston ring plier (1).

  2. The piston rings are ordered as followed:
    • Upper compression ring (1)
    • Lower compression ring (2)
    • Oil ring (3)

    NOTE:

    Clamp the connecting rod.

  3. Remove the 2 piston pin retainer (1).
  4. Remove the piston pin (2).
  5. Remove the piston (3) from the connecting rod (4).
