Oil Pan Removal

    NOTE:

    Note the difference bolt lengths.

  1. Remove the 2 oil pan bolts (3, 4).
  2. Remove the oil pan bolt (2).
  3. Remove the 12 oil pan bolts (1).

  4. Loosen the oil pan carefully from the lower cylinder block, use a suitable tools at the location as shown to pry (1).
  5. Remove the oil pan.

  6. Remove and DISCARD the oil filter seal (1).
